Willows Inn Lummi Island

I am finalizing a group of paintings which will be installed at Willows Inn on Lummi Island in March for the grand reopening.  The restaurant is closed in January and February.  My paintings will be hanging in the dining room when the restaurant reopens.

If you haven't read the New York Times lately, you might be surprised to know that Willows Inn has been touted as a restaurant worth flying to. “Willows Inn, on the tiny San Juan island of Lummi, is about two hours from Seattle by car and ferry. Yet it is about to become a destination restaurant, thanks to its new chef, Blaine Wetzel. The 24-year-old, formerly the protégé of Rene Redzepi at Noma, the Copenhagen restaurant that was ranked the “best restaurant in the world” for 2010 by S. Pellegrino, took over the kitchen at Willows last year.” New York Times, Travel Section, January 7, 2011.

So, if you've got a hankering for some world famous farm to table food and my art, take a ferry ride over to Lummi Island and enjoy.  Check out Willows Inn.
